Apple iPad 2 LCD Display Leaked?

Would you believe everything that you saw? Well that obviously depends upon you. Apple iPad 2 is no doubt being anxiously awaited, as it just might hike the tablet market share of Apple which has slid down to 77% owing to the rise in popularity of Android tablets. What we have got for you here is what 9to5mac along with iFixYouri repair believe to be the new iPad 2 LCD display.

They say that they’ve got the new iPad 2 LCD display fresh from China and they even tout the purported part number which is: LP097X02-SLN1 as compared to the original iPad’s LP097X02-SLA3 display.

The new Apple iPad 2 display is said to be lighter and more than 1-mm thinner than the original while featuring a thinner bezel as well, conceding to a recent report published by Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of Concord Securities in which he said that the iPad 2 will be thinner, will have an anti-reflective screen and will be of the same screen resolution like the original iPad, meaning that there will be NO Retina Display on the iPad 2.

Nevertheless, the big mystery is still the resolution. A commenter on 9to5Mac claims to have deciphered the part number to reveal the iPad 2 display being shown is of LG Phillips 9.7-inch XGA 1024 x 768 H-IPS display origin, meaning that it is of the same resolution as the current iPad, provided if what he claims is true.

Unfortunately, there is no way to confirm this until and unless Apple comes forward with the official details of the iPad 2. An expected launch is rumored for either the first or second Saturday of April. Find pictures of the Apple iPad 2 LCD display attached below.
