The British Broadcasting Corporation a.k.a BBC have rolled out the Android version of their popular iPlayer app, which will provide you with a free TV catchup service comprising of the best and most popular content from BBC’s recent programming.
The Android version of the British Broadcasting Corporation’s iPlayer app which also streams radio and TV to your phones and tablets, is said to be released on Februrary 10, 2011, which is today.
And indeed, the BBC iPlayer app is now live and available for download via the Android Market. However, the only pre-requisite it requires is that you have Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo and Flash player 10.1 installed on your Android device. The important part is that you will also need to be in the United Kingdom to enjoy all of the features whereas people outside of the UK will not have access to the features for free.
