GreenPoisOn RC6 is which was expected to release next week has just been released by the Chronic Dev team for both Windows and Mac. With this release of GreenPoisOn RC6 you can jailbreak your Apple TV 2G on iOS 4.2.1.
The best thing about GreenPoisOn RC6 is that you can apply it over RC5 without restoring. We have not yet tested this untethered jailbreak tool, but the beta testing has been done by @iH8sn0w and @GreySyntax still we recommend you to proceed with caution.
