Jay Freeman or Saurik as he is most commonly known as, has rolled out a major release upgrade for Cydia which brings the versiom number up to 1.1. Previously we told you that Cydia 1.1 is going to be localized in several languages, and now, Saurik has finally released Cydia 1.1. Essentially, Cydia 1.1 brings improvements in terms of speed. Alongside bringing bug fixes, Cydia 1.1 also brings a new “resume where you left off” feature.

Search listings are dramatically going to be improved in Cydia 1.1 as it brings a whole new and improved search algorithm.
The differences and improvements in Cydia 1.1 are noticeable from the very moment update Cydia installer on your device. The search is faster, the reloading of data is faster and the “resume where you left off” feature works like a charm.
Cydia 1.1 is available for all devices and getting it on your device is no big deal. If you haven’t already fired up Cydia today, do that now and wait for Cydia to automatically prompt you to install an essential upgrade. Once the installation is finished, Cydia will restart and you will now be running Cydia 1.1
