Previously we reported that the iOS 4.3.1 untethered exploit had been given over to the iPhone Dev Team by Stefan Esser, who earlier demoed the untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak on video. Now, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has confirmed that the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak exploit will work on all devices, second generation Apple TV included, except the iPad 2.
Distribution of iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak will be done through implementation in Redsn0w 0.9.8 for Windows and PwnageTool 4.3 for Mac. The team is fixing any minor bugs and we should expect the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak tool release quite soon.
