Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Mango Update Build 7.0.7753.0 Appears Yet Again

Much has been going on in the world of Apple and iOS. Now, lets take a look at Windows Phone 7. The WP7 NoDo update came out a few weeks earlier and brought the much awaited copy/paste functionality for Windows Phone 7 devices. Multitasking on Windows Phone 7 is still an update away. However, it looks like a random build of WP7 is out there which not many know about. A commenter on Windows Phone Italy showed a picture of his LG Optimus 7, which instead of the automatic NoDo Windows Phone 7 March update, received build 7.0.7753.0 which is higher than NoDo’s build 7.0.7390.0.

Windows Phone 7 Mango Update

The commenter has clarified that he installed the update through the usual update process using Zune, but we all know that this particular build number hasn’t been received by all Windows Phone 7 users., though. There are no major noticeable changes in this build, but a new Search button is visible. It is also possible that the greater number of changes may be in the form of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Is this a blunder on part of WP7 update distribution? Looks like its most certainly is, however build 7.0.7753.0 is not widespread meaning that you won’t be getting that new Search button anytime soon.
