Steve Wozniak Says He Will Return To Apple If Asked

Steve Wozniak was Steve Jobs partner-in-crime when they started off Apple Inc. from Steve Jobs’ garage decades ago. Regardless of the fact that Steve Wozniak is still an employee and shareholder in Apple, he has not been actively involved with the company since 1987 when he left Apple to purse his own entrepreneurial dreams. However, in a recent interview, Wozniak has said that he might consider returning to Apple if he’s asked to do so.

Steve Wozniak

In the interview taken earlier this week, Wozniak said that he would consider returning to Apple for a more active role, if the company wants him to. The interesting thing to note here is that Apple CEO Steve Jobs is currently on an indefinite medical leave of absence from Apple while retaining his position as CEO, so Woz returning back may not fill that gap, but let’s not forget that he co-founded the company back in the day with Steve Jobs.

He also wished that Apple started being more open about the strategy of the company, while saying that Apple’s success in recent years was unbelievable., so that he could return and add his own touches to Apple.

Let’s hope that both Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak return to Apple, so that the dynamic duo is reunited once again, and we shall see some really extraordinary products coming out of Cupertino, California.
