How To Unlock iPhone 4/3GS iOS 4.3.2 Using Ultrasn0w 1.2.2

Earlier today, the iPhone Dev Team released PwnageTool 4.3.2 for Mac to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 untethered on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Those iPhone 4/3GS owners who were waiting for PwangeTool to upgrade their devices to iOS 4.3.2 can now safely upgrade as PwnageTool will not upgrade the baseband and will preserve the unlockable baseband. To unlock iPhone 4/3GS on iOS 4.3.2, the Dev Team has also released ultrasn0w 1.2.2. This tutorial will tell you how to unlock your jailbroken iPhone 4/3GS on iOS 4.3.2.

Note that there’s a corresponding update to ultrasn0w, which has been bumped up to v1.2.2 to get along with iOS 4.3.2 (the ultrasn0w update does not include any new baseband support!). Please reboot your iPhone using the normal “slide to power off” swipe after installing ultrasn0w 1.2.2.

Please remember that ultrasn0w 1.2.2 is not a new unlock for higher basebands such as 02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01, 05.14.02 and 05.15.04. Ultrasn0w will only unlock iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 jailbroken on iOS 4.3.2 using PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze and have the above mentioned basebands.

iPhone 3GS Owners Need To Upgrade To Baseband 6.15.00 Before They Can Use Ultrasn0w unlock for iOS 4.3.1

If you’re an iPhone 3GS owner, it is imperative that you have jailbroken your device on 6.15.00 baseband for ultrasn0w unlock. Please keep in mind that updating to iPad baseband 6.15.00 may become the cause of GPS loss.

How To Unlock iPhone 4/3GS On iOS 4.3.2 Using Ultrasn0w 1.2.2

Step 1: First and foremost, jailbreak your iDevice.

After you have successfully jailbroken your iOS 4.3.2 device, now you can unlock it using ultrasn0w 1.2.2 on the above mentioned basebands.

Step 2: Load Cydia

Step 3: At the bottom right corner, tap Manage

Step 4: Tap on Source

Step 5: Tap Edit on the top right corner followed by Add on the top left corner.

Step 6: Add the following repository - http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com and tap on Add Source

Step 8: Once installation successfully completes, go to Search and write ultrasn0w 1.2.2

Step 9: Install ultrasn0w 1.2.2 to unlock iOS 4.3.2 on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4

Step 10: All you need to do now is to restart your iPhone 4, 3GS and voila! You now have a fully unlock iPhone 4, 3GS on iOS 4.3.2 baseband 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and 06.15.00.
