The iDevice jailbreaking phenomena has grown to unimaginable heights. Almost every other person possessing an iOS device has tried jailbreaking it. So if there’s this large group of potentially like minded people, why not bring them together at one platform along with the people that have been the front runners in the jailbreaking scene? For that purpose, the first Apple iDevice jailbreaking convention, MyGreatFest, is being organized in London.
Taking place on September 17th, 2011, the world’s first jailbreak convention will also be the first event of its kind where the iDevice community as a whole will have the change to mingle and interact with each other. The team behind MyGreatFest assures everyone that the world’s first jailbreaking convention will not only appeal to those who are familiar with jailbreaking, but will also educate people who want to know why they should jailbreak their iOS devices.
Craig Fox is the man behind this first jailbreak convention and we’ve heard that the convention shall play host to some really big names in the jailbreaking arena. The MyGreatFest team has said that attendees of this jailbreak convention will also experience an exclusive keynote speech from the developer of Cydia himself, Jay Freeman a.k.a Saurik.
Tickets for the Apple iOS jailbreaking convention are available for purchase through MyGreatFest eStore. The charges are £27 for Adults, £17 for Children, £58 for Family (includes 1 adult and 1 child), and £98.50 for a group of 4 adults.
Craig Fox has also said that he plans to organize such jailbreaking conventions across the world, starting with one in the U.S. next year (where you might see NitroTV as a speaker) and later moving on to Australia or Japan for at least one annual jailbreak convention starting 2014.
