This new version of redsnow rc15 is based on i0n1c’s untethered exploit which for some reason Apple didn’t fixed in the newly release iOS 4.3.3. How to Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 on iPad, iPhone & iPod touch using RedsnOw RC15
Before you start the jailbreaking process you need to download the following files on your computer.
Download iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
Download iTunes 10.2.2
Download RedsnOw 0.9.6 RC15
Step 1: Download the respective iOS 4.3.3 firmware file for your iOS device and restore it to iOS 4.3.3 via iTunes 10.2.2.
Step 2: Once your device is restored to stock iOS 4.3.3, open up Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 and click on Browse to select the 4.3.3.ipsw file that you downloaded earlier.
Step 3: Click “Next“. Make sure to check Install Cydia options.
Step 4: Now make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click “Next”.
Step 5: Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 will then show instructions on how to put your device in DFU mode. Follow them carefully to put your device in DFU mode.
- Hold Power button for 3 seconds
- Then hold Power and Home buttons together for 10 seconds
- Release Power button but keep holding Home button till installation starts
Step 6: Redsn0w will now work its magic on your device. A series of automated steps will start, and once they are complete, your iOS device will reboot automatically.
