iSteve, The Book of Jobs

Steve Jobs founded Apple in his garage back in late 1970s with co-founders Steve Wozniak and Mike Markkula. However, in 1984, Steve Jobs resigned from Apple and founded NeXT. Apple acquired NeXT in 1996 and Steve Jobs became CEO in 1997. Nearly fourteen years have passed since Steve Jobs became CEO of Apple, and the company has literally dominated the market, be it tablets, smartphones or computers.

Amazon is now accepting pre-orders for iSteve, the book, all 448 pages of which, will be published on March 6, 2012. Though the list price is going to be $30, Amazon has priced iSteve pre-orders at just $18 only.

From bestselling author Walter Isaacson comes the landmark biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. In iSteve: The Book of Jobs, Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Jobs’ professional and personal life.

Drawn from three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews Isaacson has conducted with Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs’ family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors, iSteve is the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation.

We know that Apple was in serious trouble back in 1996 when Jobs came back to the company. They then launched the original iPod in 2001, and a decade later the iPod rules the portable music industry. Same goes for the various other devices that have been released in this time frame. Wouldn’t we like to know more about the man that literally turned Apple’s fate upside down?

We can’t wait to get our hands on iSteve: The Book of Jobs, and we’re pretty sure you can’t too!
