Finally Gotten Google+ Invite, Now We Are Sharing

Some see it as a Facebook killer while others fear that it will suffer a similar fate to Google Buzz and Google Wave. Google has been very slow in the initial roll out of Google+. Only selected few were invited to try it yesterday. Although Google servers are holding up the load, invite mechanism has been suspended for tonight inorder to insure the best user experience. A few hours ago Vic Gundotra on his google+ profile said:

We’ve shut down invite mechanism for the night. Insane demand. We need to do this carefully, and in a controlled way. Thank you all for your interest!

We tried to get our hands on an invite yesterday by registering on Google, visiting blogs, calling friends but ever effort turned out to be fruitless. Fortunately, only minutes ago an old friend has send us an invite. Yes, we have finally have got one, Hurray!!!

Hold on, wasn’t the invite mechanism supposed to be offline ??? Our friend claims that the invite was send by exploiting a bug in the invite system, if true this might not be a good news for Google+. Bug or no bug, we have got an invite.

If you have not been able to get your hands on Google+ invitation then you can either click here to register yourself in a long queue or you can try your luck with us, all you need to do is like us on Facebook and leave your email address as a comment. We also request our reads to share their invites with those in need.
