A few hours back, we reported that Comex had finally released JailbreakMe 3.0 iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak for iPad 2. What most people are concerned and writing about at this point in time, is specifically the iPad 2 jailbreak. We’d be surprised to find out if you still don’t know that it also possible to jailbreak iPhone and iPod touch on iOS 4.3.3, for now, using JailbreakMe 3.0.
We had taken out the time to mention in our earlier post that JailbreakMe 3.0 is compatible on iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, iPod touch 2G, 3G, 4G and iPad 1G, 2G and will jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 on these devices. Previously, we had also reported that JailbreakMe 3.0 will only come with support for iOS 4.2.1 to 4.3.3. A day back, Comex tweeted that he is only adding support for iOS 4.3.3 in JailbreakMe 3.0 at the moment, while support for 4.3.x and older firmwares will be added in the near future. To sum it all up, if you have an iPhone or iPod touch that is running iOS 4.3.3, you can easily jailbreak it using JailbreakMe 3.0 which is devoid of all lengthy procedures that are required in PwnageTool, redsn0w and sn0wbreeze.
How to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 iPhone, iPod touch untethered using JailbreakMe 3.0.
Follow the steps documented down below exactly as they are describe, in order to get a clean and working untethered iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak.
Step 1: Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPod touch and type in the following URL: http://www.jailbreakme.com
Step 2: Tap on the little Free tab in the upper right corner. You’ll notice that upon tapping this tab, it automatically changes to Install. Yes, its quite reminiscent of what we see in the App Store. Now tap on Install.
Step 3: Safari minimizes just as the App Store does when you install an app from there, and you’ll see that Cydia appears on the home screen and begins downloading and installing just as an app does from the App Store.
Step 4: Once installation finishes, tap the Cydia icon to launch it. Select whether you’re a User, Hacker or Developer and feast your eyes on Cydia goodness. Keep in mind that this procedure does not require a reboot.
If you’re content with the lengthy procedures, follow our guide to jailbreaking iOS 4.3.3 untethered using redsn0w.
If you don’t understand any particular step of this procedure, leave a comment below and we’ll help you out a.s.a.p.

As mentioned safari minimized, and i saw the Cydia icon but as progress bar reached around 50% the icon disappeared.
i tried rebooting and it took a long time to reboot. and still no sign of the cydia icon.
i tried a few times with the same result.
i am on 4.3.3(8J2) , iphone 3gs,
My iPad 2 is still on 4.3.1. Will this work on mine?
This also works on iphone 3g running ios 4.0
short question, as I am pretty much an idiot about ipod touch g2. Question: can I use the above to move my already jailbroke ipod touch g2 ios 4.2.1 up to ios 4.3.3? Why? Apple really p@##$@ me off when they decided to limit my g2 to 4.2.1 and no higher. In fact, that’s why I “jailbreaked” it. (I confess, I want 4.3 because I want to use the sytycd app and vote for my favorites) (what a reason, huh?)
