We have made it a regular practice here at ChipHazard to review and write about the latest jailbreak tweaks that go live in Cydia each day for our valuable readers. We know that you love jailbreak tweaks as much as we do, and that’s why we bring you the latest and greatest tweak reviews each and every day. A new tweak caught our attention in Cydia today. Its called BackForwardEnhancer and applies to mobile Safari in your iOS device.
The best thing about jailbreaking is that you’re open to a whole new world to customization through means that Apple does not allow. Jailbreak allows you install themes on your iOS device, while by default this is not possible. The amazing personalization opportunities are the main reason due to which people are so tempted to jailbreak their devices. It may also give rise to app piracy, but most people just jailbreak their devices for customization purposes, after all piracy IS wrong.
If you’re familiar with jailbreaking, then you’ll for sure be familiar with Cydia. This front-end package installer is basically an App Store for jailbroken devices. In Cydia, you’ll find a vast variety of themes, jailbreak tweaks and mods developed by independent developers. Most of the apps in Cydia are those which are rejected for inclusion in the App Store by Apple. The great thing about Cydia is that mostly every package is available for free, but for a nominal price, you can get your hands on an amazing tweak that will redefine the iOS experience as you know it.
Right, so the tweak in question today is called BackForwardEnhancer. Its a very simple tweak and works with mobile Safari on jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Basically, its a Back and Forward button enhancer for mobile Safari. It shows recent history to which you can go forward to backward to using the two arrow Back and Forward buttons in the left hand corner. Simply press and hold the relevant Back or Forward button to bring up the BackForwardList. From there, you can select which page you want to go to. Quite a simple yet useful tweak.
