How to fix iTunes 3002 Error
If you follow our guide to install iOS 5 Beta 4 carefully, you won’t get any error at all. Actually it’s a simple mistake most people are doing which results in the iTunes error 3002. Now you can fix this issue by two methods. Both are explained in detailed below.
Method 1
Step 1: Download iOS 4.3.3 (iOS 5 beat 4 is unstable, we recommend you to install iOS 4.3.3 firmware but if you wish to install iOS 5 beta version simply download iOS beta instead of iOS 4.3.3, Rest is all the same). Connect your idevice to your Mac and press Alt+Options.
Step 2: Click Restore option.
Step 3: A window will open and you will have to point it to the iOS 4.3.3.
Step 4: iTunes will then ask to restore from backup. Click Continue, this process may take upto 15 mins to 20 mins based on the size of your backup. DONE
Method 2
Step 1: Download iOS 4.3.3
Step 2: Go to My Computer -> Windows -> System 32 -> Drivers -> etc
Step 3: Drag the Host file to desktop and Open it in Notepad.
Step 4: Under For Example type

Step 5: Now save and close it. Drag it back to its original location.
Step 6: Now open iTunes and do shift+restore then select iOS 4.3.3 firmware downloaded on your PC.
