Apple Will Release iPhone 5 On T-Mobile As Well This Fall

One does not need to mention all of the speculation surrounding the iPhone 5 release. Much has already been learnt about it in rumours however there is a huge possibility that these rumours will be squashed once Apple comes forward with the official iPhone 5 details this Fall. Before that happens though, we have enough room to take a dozen more rumours and this one here isn’t that far fetched after all. Apparently, Apple is going to release a T-Mobile iPhone 5 as well this Fall.

When AT&T bought T-Mobile USA a couple of months back, immediately people started asking the obvious question. Is the iPhone coming to T-Mobile USA? Well it doesn’t seem so for the iPhone 4 because soon after the news about T-Mobile USA acquisition broke, the carrier quickly clarified that it won’t be getting the iPhone 4. One would think that would have happened due to the fact that AT&T has been on the frontlines ever since Apple launched the original iPhone way back in 2007. The reason why T-Mobile USA might have had held back at that point in time might be because we all know the reign of iPhone 4 is coming to an end and the throne will be taken by the iPhone 5. So if T-Mobile makes a fresh start with the iPhone 5, doesn’t that make everybody happy?

This tip about a T-Mobile USA iPhone 5 comes from a source with T-Mobile USA itself who has claimed that the next generation iPhone will be able to fully capitalize on the 3G network of T-Mobile USA. Due to the fact that the network does not offer the iPhone currently, people have to jailbreak and unlock iPhone in order to run in on T-Mobile if they want to. T-Mobile USA iPhone 5 will also be able to access Visual Voicemail which is currently inaccessible to owners of unlocked iPhones running on the T-Mobile USA GSM network.

As far as the iPhone 5 release is concerned, there are huge chances that it might be slated for October 2011. This time it looks like Apple is destined to release its brand new flagship smartphone on all carriers in the USA because according to a recent report, Sprint Nextel is also getting an iPhone 5 which will run on its CDMA network that has over 52 million subscribers all over the country.

You know you would buy an iPhone 5 for sure, the question is, which network will you go for?
