Bloomberg had early access to the copy of Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson, through which the above report was made. The excerpts narrates that once Google’s Larry Page requested to meet with Jobs, who was angry with Google’s invasion into the smartphone market with its Android Operating system(Jobs vowed to destroy Android).

Still, after such hatred with Android(which still continues on), Jobs changed his mind and decided to meet Page as Hewlett Packard co-founder had also helped him when he was starting in his carrier. Jobs specifically advised Page to focus on its products or it could turn into Microsoft.

Jobs during meeting with Page:-

“I described the blocking and tackling he would have to do to keep the company from getting flabby or being larded with B players”.Jobs said of the meeting with Page this year in his living room. “Figure out what Google wants to be when it grows up. It’s now all over the map. What are the five products you want to focus on? Get rid of the rest, because they’re dragging you down. They’re turning you into Microsoft”.

After meeting with Jobs he intended to meet other executives as well in the following months, as it could help them goto the right path.

Steve Jobs on Mark Zukerberg :-

I will continue to do that with people like Mark Zuckerberg, too. That’s how I’m going to spend part of the time I have left. I can help the next generation remember the lineage of great companies here and how to continue the tradition. The Valley has been very supportive of me. I should do my best to repay.

The full biography may reveal exactly how much people he helped. He was certainly a role model for many, especially for those who were trying to make it big in their life and felt the need to sought out advice from the great one.
