Moments ago iOS 5.0.1 final version was seeded to the public which contained many bug fixes and solved issues like poor battery performance which prevailed ever since iOS 5 came.
However, as we mentioned yesterday don’t update to iOS 5.0.1 yet as there may not be an untethered jailbreak possible for it. MuscleNerd also informed via Twitter moments ago to not update to iOS 5.0.1 that Apple released today.
The main concern is that the bugs which Security Researcher Charlie Miller found has made untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 very easy and will be released very soon and those bugs are squashed in iOS 5.0.1. So it will take much time for hackers to find more exploits for iOS 5.0.1 to make untethered jailbreak for it.
Another major concern as seen by the above tweet is that currently there is no way to downgrade from iOS 5.0.1 to iOS 5.0 so until there is no way to downgrade it is advised not to update to the new version to be in the safe spot.
However if you don’t care about jailbreak, go ahead and download the new iOS 5.0.1 and enjoy bug free performance from your iPhone.
I am from india and i am stuck wid ios 5.0.1 9a405. I have jailbroken my iphone 3gs but i am not able to discover any sim car. Ultrasnow 1.2.4 is not working on my phone.Please give solution to get out of mud.

Ultrasnow has not been updated yet to support iOS 5.0.1 yet, you can also see the tweet mentioned in the post that warns both jailbreakers and unlockers to stay away from the update.
At the moment you can just wait for an update to come on ultrasnow to resolve this issue.
