Apple has just released an updated firmware version 4.4.3 for Apple TV to public. Last update for the 2nd generation Apple TV firmware 4.4.2 was released last month in October.
Each release of an update firmware version has brought many bug fixes and some new features. This firmware update brings solution for probably some maintenance issues and few additional features.
Following is the change-log :-
- It has added support for Netflix in Mexico
- It addresses an issue in which audio may not play through the optical port when the Tv is turned off.
This update doesn’t include much features as compared with that of previous version that came. Still adding the support for Netflix across the border for Mexicans seems a pretty smooth move.
So go ahead and update if you were suffering from the issue mentioned or to experience new changes that Apple guys have missed. You can download the firmware update from the link given below which is 378 MB in size.
