Set the lights, ready the camera; today, we have been bestowed with an eye enchanting view of the biggest Apple’s store in history. Apple has finally taken down the tarps that were hiding the store’s entrance from the passersby, revealing not only the entrance but also three glowing company’s logo on the east balcony, two of them on the landings of the main stairway while the third-one on the top of the stairs.
In a press release today, Apple has announced that the new Grand Central Store will open on 9th of December (this Friday) at 10:00am.
The Apple Store® Grand Central, Apple’s fifth store in Manhattan, will open Friday, December 9, at 10 a.m., just in time for the holidays. This one-of-a-kind Apple retail store overlooks the historic Main Concourse from the East and North East balconies of the world-famous Grand Central Terminal, and has two Genius Bars for free tech support and advice.
Beyond the balcony overlooking the expansive Main Concourse, the Apple Store Grand Central offers rooms dedicated to some of our most popular services, including the largest area in the world dedicated to Personal Setup.
23,000 sq foot in size, the retail has been located at the heart of Grand Central Terminal where 700,000 (approximately) people are said to pass through every day. The new store gives the company’s signature looks of maple wood tables exhibiting company’s products.
The retail houses a total of 315 employees and features rooms that are dedicated to retail services, including Apple’s largest Personal Setup Area as well as Personal Training Room where people can learn the basics of Mac or sign-up for a one-to-one program, just for $99. Media Store will be open seven days a week, from 7:00am to 9:00pm on Monday-Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm on Saturday, and 11:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday.
