GTA 3 has been released today for iOS 4.3 or greater compatible devices including iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad which s now available for download.
Just few weeks back, Infinity Blade 2 was released for iOS devices and now Rockstar joins the action with its classic release for GTA 3 which has been one of the most anticipated title release Apple’s platform this year.
GTA 3 was one of the most played title back in the days when it was released, over 14 million copies were sold on Playstation 2 platform making it one of the most popular game of all time. Now Rockstar expects to witness the same experience with its release on iOS platform.

Nothing beats a full out 3d gta on iOS. Apple just needs to make an official iOS game controller and it’d be over. Either that, or some very wise touch gestures for control would rock. Either way, this is exciting. Just to think, by the time we get to the iPad 4, it could be powerful enough for San Andreas without having any hickups.
Just a quick round up for compatible devices, it runs only on iPhone 4 and 4s, iPoad Tocuh 4G and the iPad. It’s probably not compatible with the older iPhone models due to their slow processor speed which would compromise the performance of the game-play.
