Apple’s most popular smartphone iPhone 4S will reach yet two more countries tomorrow including Vietnam and Turkey on Friday 16th December.
Vietnamese telecom companies VinaPhone and Viettel have announced they will sell the latest iPhone to customers starting this Friday.
Local media reported that the state-owned VinaPhone will offer the 16GB iPhone 4S for VND15.6 million (US$740) on contract. Apple’s iPhone will be sold by Viettel for a slightly higher price, VND16.4 million.
The smartphones will come both in locked and unlocked conditions and the price mention for unlock version is VND600000 which is around $30 that seems very weird as the unlock version price in other countries are considerably higher(almost double the price).
These unlock version price can only be confirmed when it gets released tomorrow and if the prices are the same that are speculated by the news site, then it’s really a big treat by Apple for Vietnam.
Alongside Vietnam and Turkey, the iPhone 4S is also reported to be launching in countries including Thailand and Israel.
