Apple’s Newsstand is turning out to be a very useful app for those who love to read on their iPhone and iPad as the new figures by people behind Popular Science show that by the released of this appe, around 4,000 new subscribers have joined in the number continues to get increased.
Popular science readers have increased from 28,300 to 40,700 ever since iOS 5 was introduced. Most of the readers preferred the Newsstand-powered version of Popular science as compared with the paper version and the credit for the former version might goto the comfortable and increased visibility of the iOS app.
The number looks promising and could get higher if the trend expands but the only reason this trend expansion might face problems is due to high price-tag. Let’s face it, not everybody can afford an expensive gadget like iPad or iPhone which is the main reason why electronic versions of newspapaer, magazines will remain confined into a cluster of people.
The analysis shows that if tablets is in reach of everybody(which might happen in near future), the paper version of book, magazines etc will surely become extinct.
