We’ve been hearing many rumors regarding the awaited release of the next generation PS and XBOX consoles and now once again tech sites around the web are expecting once again for them to be unveiled this year in June at E3 2012.

Both the Xbox 360 successor AND a follow up to the PS3 will be shown at E3 2012.
The LA show tease will come as Wii U launch details are locked in – and should ensure no ground is lost between competing consoles.
It will mark the very first time in the show’s 17-year history that three fresh, rival console formats will be so directly comparable.
MCV’s third-party publishing sources claim that the unveiling will indeed take place this year in June. It’s been a very long time since Microsoft’s latest installment XBOX 360 hit the stores as a competitor to PS2.Since then Sony stepped up their game and launched PS3 which was a real competition killer.
PS3 till now is considered to be the best console available at the time given its processing power and graphics performance which in some cases leaves XBOX 360 behind. The next version of XBOX should come as soon as possible to tackle its competitors and get in the game again.
Whatever happens, this year will be very crucial for both the companies as they would most probably be showing their homework they have been doing since couple of years.
