After so many updates recently, the jailbreak tool has been updated to version 1.0.8 which supports untethered jailbreak for both iPhone 4S and iPad 2 running iOS 5, finally joining the club with the other iOS devices.
Saurik has informed via Twitter today that the Absinthe’s magic has been successfully integrated for the A5 devices in the latest Corona update version 1.0.8, bringing the same level of ease that previously only A4 iOS device users could enjoy.
If you haven’t jailbroken your device then goto Cydia and install the latest corona package and if you have already jailbroken your device using previous version of Corona, just launch Cydia and wait for it to prompt for an update.
If you’re having iBooks DRM issues then this version will also fix that but if you’re having no problem then there is no need to install this version as it only adds the support for A5 devices.
