Just in-case you missed the big news in the previous days, if you’re an US iPhone 4 user then you are entitled for a $15 or a free bumper from Apple over that Antennagate issue.
Antennagate???, what’s that?, well when the notorious iPhone 4 was launched many users suffered with 3G reception issues when they would place their palm over the antenna part of their iPhone 4 smartphone device. This issue has been since dubbed as Antennagate around the net(mostly by bloggers).
Over that issue several lawsuit were filed and in return Apple quickly reacted to the issue and made free iPhone bumper available to customers which solved such problem. As a part of the lawsuit settlement, Apple in 2010 did offer a free $30 bumper case to address the issue.
Now with that being said, Apple has again started this campaign to facilitate the iPhone 4 users. The thing to keep in mind is that this offer only applies to those US iPhone 4 users that didn’t take advantage of campaign conducted in 2010. So if you’ve already taken advantage of this offer before, you wouldn’t be entitled for $15 or bumper case now.
