Till now Cydia has been the only store from which jailbreakers would download tweak that would enhance their iOS experience (without jailbreak tweaks iPhone is boring like hell) but now there seems to be another alternative for Cydia in the making called iTweak that claims to help users find their favorite tweak etc.
Even though there is no ETA to when iTweak will be launched but they do have a “Coming Soon” banner on their site with the following message :-
Welcome to iTweak! iTweak is one of the best places to get all of your Tweaks, Themes, Utilities and more on your jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch and iPad! We serve as an alternative to Cydia, and the Apple App Store.
Previously, many challengers claimed to be the equal of Cydia but all of them failed. Unless the people at iTweak aren’t serious about setting this paltform, they would be included in that line of losers. However the name iTweak is quite appeaking(more than Cydia), so its most probably a factor that the people behind this venture would just use the name for nothing.
Stay tuned for more updates, we’ll update when their is some concrete news regarding it. Lets hope their comes a second alternative so that the jailbreak community could rise.
