Just a heads up, the new iPad will be available for sale tomorrow (Firday) starting at 8am in the Us and nine additional countries. Following is the official press release by Apple which states the countries in which it’ll be available :-
Apple® today announced the new iPad®, the third generation of its category defining mobile device, will arrive at Apple’s retail stores and the Apple Online Store (www.apple.com) on Friday, March 16 at 8:00 a.m. local time in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland and the UK; along with Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Apart from the Apple store, the new iPad will also be available from five other retailers which are : Best Buy, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart. The biggest advantage of buying from these retail stores is that you won’t have to wait in long lines as few people know about the availability in those retailers.
Also they will have less stock as compared to the Apple Store so you might wanna hurry to get you hands on that shiny iPad.
