Till now you have been listening to Apple-Samsung lawsuits which any deemed to be unnecessary! but if you think you’ve heard it all, you’re wrong as CBS New York is reporting that an 83-year old woman has filed a lawsuit against Apple after she sustained injuries walking into a glass door at its Manhassett Store in Long Island, NY.
The woman’s name is Evelyn Paswall, and she’s going after Apple for a staggering $1 million dollars in medical expenses (nope she didn’t break her limb or anything… she just broke her nose).
Paswall claims that she didn’t realize the she was walking into a wall of glass as she approached the store, and says that she broke her nose as a result of the collision. Her suit claims that “The defendant was negligent in allowing a clear, see-through glass wall and/or door to exist without proper warning.”
According to some sources, Apple has stickers pasted on transparent glasses to avoid such incident which the old woman doesn’t find useful enough (hence her broken nose). In this incident she just broke her nose but is requesting 1 Million Dollars for compensation (wow).
Looks like someone is just trying to make some easy money using this ridiculous allegations since a million dollar means nothing to Apple. Lets see if she’s successful in getting wealth she failed to acquire all her life.
