An upcoming biopic covering the early days of Steve Jobs will feature the Hollywood Star, Aston Kutcher, playing the role of young Steve Jobs. This news came up first by Variety on April 1st but considering the time, this news was dismissed as a prank and no other sources were there to confirm the story but later on the representative for the actor confirmed the casting.
The actor, 34, will play Jobs from his days as a hippie to his rise as a revered technological pioneer. It will chronicle Jobs and Steve Wozniak finding Apple in 1976 and Jobs’s return to the company, after being forced out, in the 1990s.
The film, entitled Jobs, will be an independent production. Filming is set to begin in May, when Kutcher is on hiatus from his CBS series Two and a Half Men.
Just so it’s cleared this is not the Sony Pictures biopic on Jobs, based on the best-selling book by Walter Isaacson. That biopic has until now no list of cast.
The entrance of star like Aston Kutcher (who by the way looked a lot like young Steve Jobs with long hair) this Indie boipic has picked up tremendous potential and anticipation. Lets see if the upcoming Biopic is upto the expectation of the late Icon’s fans.
