For those of you curious iOS users wondering about Sprint’s unlimited data package future, there’s a good news!. Sprint CEO, Dan Hesse, has finally addressed the concerns regarding the sixth gen iPhone impact on the unlimited data package.
Speaking to CNET’s Roger Cheng, Hesse said his company has little interest in changing unlimited data plans by the time the next iPhone hits the market later this year, whether or not it is LTE capable.
Commenting on the combination of unlimited and the iPhone, Hesse told CNET:
I’m not anticipating the unlimited plan would change by that point. That’s our distinctive differentiator. Frankly, it’s a marriage made in heaven. We’re clearly attracting customers from our competitors.
This decision is not quite surprising as the Sprint’s CEO himself said, this unlimited package is their distinctive differentiator as compared with the other carriers, which don’t provide unlimited package.
Also by offering such a plan they will attract more iOS users from other networks quickly enough and when their number of customers goal is achieved, then they might put some restrictions on their data plans.
Atleast for another year, the iOS users would be able to use 3G services comfortably without worrying for bills!.
