As with every new device, smartphone users are waiting desperately for the Samsung’s newly unveiled Galaxy S3 performance in terms of its benchmarks which tests the device in various categories and compares with other equally matched smartphone devices.
The results are in for the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S III, and the results aren’t yet definitive since the tools that were used are somewhat outdated and the GS3 device hasn’t been launched yet which gave reviewers very less time to play with it.
AnandTech has tested Samsung’s latest Android device to the limits in several key areas, and powered by that Exynos 4 Quad-core processor, it’s barely outperformed by any other device on the market in the crucial areas such as browser and video performance.
Following are the results :-
In terms of browser performance, Galaxy S3 powerhouse simply crushes it’s competition scores. Interestingly, the onscreen GLBenchmark Egypt and Pro results show its GPU as delivering superior performance to that of the iPhone 4S, which previously reigned supreme in this category, although it’s worth pointing out that both benchmarks categories are v-sync limited on the higher-end devices.
At the moment, the exact specs of the supposedly improved Mali 400Mp is unknown. Until the tools are updated and new high-end games are tested, the GPU power will quite unlikely be known. Stay tuned for further updates regarding the benchmarks update.
