Finally!, Absinthe has received another update (bringing it to v2.0.4) due to which the last remaining iPad 2,4 has also got the jailbreak support by pod2g’s Absinthe today which previously had n support due to it’s different version.
What’s iPad 2,4 ?, well the iPad 2,4 is the updated version of the iPad 2 that features a new chipset yielding improved battery life. Due to its different configurations, previous Absinthe jailbreak utility didn’t support this rare tablet version.
After thorough testing by the iOS hackers, rhey have finally given the green light to iPad 2,4 users, which although are less in number but that didn’t stop pod2g from working his magic to this iOS device too.
