Just like Samsung’s previous Galaxy smartphone, the Korean giant has opted Corning Gorilla Glass again for its flagship smartphone Galaxy S3 which has just released in these days. Only this time, it’s the upgraded Gorilla Glass 2 that has been utilized which compared to the last one is 20% thinner which resulted in the phone’s superior slim design.

Gorilla Glass 2 was announced earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show.With it’s being 20% thinner, it provides the same level of protection from scratches and bumps.
