Recently the Dev Team released a major update to its RedSn0w jailbreak utility, which included a new option for unlocking jailbroken iPhone device via restoration of Sam Unlock Activation tickets. Today, the Dev Team has rolled out yet another update which as compared with previous release contains a minor feature which is the addition of Rocky-Racoon injection option and an iBooks bug fix.

Dev Team :-
Update #1: Starting with version 0.9.12b2, redsn0w will now explicitly ask users with limera1n-able devices whether they want to inject rocky-racoon using the DFU ramdisk method, ro the backup/restore method (the ramdisk method is better for those with lots of media on their device that would create very large backups, and it’s required for those with unactivated iPhones).
If you’ll always want to use limera1n, you can select that in the Preferences pane. It also fixes an iBooks issue an old-bootrom 3GS iPhones, and provides more useful error messages when things go wrong.”
For users who have already jailbroken their iOS devices don’t necessarily need to use this tool again for jailbreak, but if you’re one of those iPhone 3GS users who are facing problems in iBooks can go ahead an re-jailbreak with this newer version of RedSnow. Grab the file from the links below.
