Downgrade From iOS 6 Beta To iOS 5.1.1 Is Possible Through iTunes

Are you one of those eager iOS users who upgraded to iOS 6 beta to find what the fuss has all been about?,  missing jailbreak privileges on iOS 5.1.1 while realizing iOS 6 isn’t that interesting as hyped?, well you’re in luck as you can now downgrade from iOS 6 beta easily through iTunes.

Yup, through iTunes!. Confused?, well Apple is still actively signing iOS 5.1.1 since it’s the latest official firmware, so you don’t need to manipulate host files or use SHSH blobs that you used to save from tools like TinyUmbrella .

All you have to do is place your iOS device in DFU mode – plug into the computer –  open iTunes and downgrade. Even though your device can be restored back without putting it in DFU mode since the process is done by iTunes, it’s recommended to place your DFU mode to avoid any problems while iOS firmware is being installed on the device.

See how simple it was?, even Step by Step tutorial wasn’t needed for this small task!. So for those iOS devs/users out there who are hesitating to take a peek inside the new iOS, don’t, as it’s possible to head towards the previous firmware without hassle.
