With the Koreans immersing its fans to epic hype in the past for its new Galaxy devices, Samsung has once again managed to grab the attention ahead of Galaxy Note 2 launch. We’ve been hearing for quite a long time now regarding Sammy planning to include a Flexible Screen technology in its upcoming Note Hybrid but those sources having weak backgrounds couldn’t convince anybody but that’s all about to change now.
According to The KoreanTimes, The Galaxy Note II will use a 5.5 ultra-thin flexible AMOLED screen which constitutes an unbreakable Plane (UBP) and plastic substrate helping it reduce its thickness by 0.4mm. This may not sound like much, but on a 5.5″ screen, the space saved is enough for Samsung to employ a far larger battery without making the Note 2 any thicker than its predecessor.
The report doesn’t indicate anything else other than this due to which other specs couldn’t be determined at the moment.Samsung’s Unpacked event on August 29, where the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 2, is fast approaching and if KoreaTimes‘s info turns out to be true, the Note 2 will make quite a stir at the IFA expo in Berlin. Fingers crossed!.
