Samsung Galaxy S4 Launch-Unveil Date Hinted Towards February 2013 [Report]

After Apple’s non-innovative iPhone 5′s immense success in terms of pre-orders, a report has surface claiming for Samsung to be launching its next Galaxy S4 smartphone as soon as February next year and would release it the month after (March).

This news came just after three day after Apple announced two million iPhone 5 pre-orders in response to it’s rival Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy SIII became a real threat to Apple’s existence (not through Lawsuits off course), due to an impressive number of 20 Million handsets sold within 100 days and is expected to sell 30 million by the end of the year.

The Galaxy S4 is reported to launch/unveil at the  annual Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona, Spain and would release the next month (March). Here is what the source has reported.

The Korea Times (Quoting an unknown Samsung Executive):-

The timetable was released just three days after rival Apple introduced the iPhone 5, which has received a mixed response from industry experts and consumers as it is seemingly lacking in innovative features.

Samsung wants to keep its one-year product schedule and the Galaxy S4 will be the first to match that strategy. The S4 will see some external changes but retain its popular rectangular shape with rounded corner concept.

Whereas for the features, the next Galaxy would feature a five-inch screen (versus 4.8-inch on the SIII) and LTE capabilities and will allegedly run Samsung’s quad-core Exynos processor. From the outside, Samsung’s phone will “retain its popular rectangular shape with rounded corner concept”, said one executive.

This all appears too soon to happen as this would indicate Galaxy S3′s existence in serious jeopardy at the hands of iPhone 5′s arrival. Also this would send a wrong message to current S3 owners as well and would further confuse new buyers to make decision regarding buying a new device for themselves.

If this is fake or not, only time will tell and until Samsung makes an official statement (which it would never make).
