Along with Bell, Telus and Virgin offering HD voice service, another Canadian carriers has joined the club to provide the same service as well, Rogers and Fido . The supported devices that complies with this HD voice standard has also been revealed.
In an email to Mobile Syrup Rogers explained,
Rogers Network is capable of supporting HD Voice for devices that are HD voice compliant. Customers with handsets that support HD voice will experience clearer call quality and enhanced suppression of background noise.
This feature is only available between two 3G/4G handsets on our network that are both HD voice compliant.
The full list of HD Voice compliant devices is as follows:
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus
- Apple iPhone 5
- Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

- HTC EVO 3D (PG86310)
- HTC Raider (PH39150)

- Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro
- HTC One S (PJ40110)
- Motorola Quench
- Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S

It’s kind of strange that devices like HTC One X or Galaxy S3 aren’t included in the list but instead old devices like HTC Evo 3D are included. It’s unclear if more devices will ever comply to their standards to get the service. If you’re device is in the list, you’re surely quite lucky!.
