With Google’s major Android event just days away from happening, surprisingly LG has officially announced Google will officially unveil the Nexus 4 during the October 29 event. Along with other rumoured device’s unveiling to take place, this is the first officially announced smartphone to take part in the said event.
Amit Gujral, Product Planning head for LG Mobile :-
Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November,
Looks like Google did a very bad job of preventing their tailored devices from getting exposed. However specs are yet to get confirmed but if various rumours are to be trusted, the LG Nexus 4 should arrive running Android 4.2, equipped with 4.7-inch (1280 x 768) display, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2100 mAh battery, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera.
The official statement just mentions about it being available in Indian markets as soon as this November, which means that other parts including Europe and Asia will get the device pretty soon as well, maybe sooner than in India.
Much is yet to get disclosed, hopefully we’ll have to just wait till the official event to know what Google has in store for people. For what it’s worth, it seems like this is going to a pretty exciting event for Android and Tech lovers around the globe.
