After the leak of first Press Release photo of Galaxy S4, it has been reported that it will make it first appearance at CES 2013 in front of selected executives/partners behind closed doors and the prototype(s) will be heavily guarded.
Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Jay Lee (shown above) is allegedly the person who will show the prototype of the upcoming Galaxy S IV to carriers and other high-profile partners at CES 2013.
This report could indicate that the press release photo we just saw was indeed a Galaxy S3 lookalike prototype of Galaxy S4 with all the new hardware features.
Regarding the question that will Galaxy S4 be officially unveiled at CES 2013 remains unanswered. However, it’s most unlikely for Samsung to make any kind of public appearance at the event since it’s mainly a platform for manufacturers who haven’t yet grasped the smartphone market.
You can look forward to see new smartphone products from HTC, Sony etc, at the event. When it comes to Samsung, being probably the biggest smartphone giant in the world, it will most definitely have a separate unveiling event just like last year. Stay tuned for more updates.
