Recently Motorola’s alleged upcoming smartphone codename “X” has been the main point of interest since it’s most probably going to be huge tuning point for Motorola that might take on the current Nexus devices with both specs and competitive prices.
A few days ago we heard rumours that Motorola X handset will be a 5″smartphone featuring Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie , multi-carrier device sand would get unveiled this spring at Google I/O 2013 – and it looks like there are more details on the device, thanks to a new rumor.
The new rumours builds upon the previous report by further suggesting that the device would go out on sale at July 8 after being announced in mid-May at Google I/O. More over the rumours suggests that the handset’s price on Verizon with new contracts will ocst $299.
For those users willing ot get the unlocked version will be able to get their hands on the device contract-free from the Google Play Store at “a similar off-contract price to Nexus line.” For the rip-off part, those stuck with carriers will have to pay $15 per month to unlcok the bootloader, whereas there’s no restriction on the unlocked verion which you’ll be able to get from Googl play.
Also this device is rumoured to come with Stock Android UI with some bloatware added if you’ve bought it from a carriers. Thought it’s said that it can easily be removed. With such Stock Android experience, unlockable bootloader and an extremely low price would surely make Motorola X come on top of Nexus devices that offer similar features. We’ll keep you updated when there’s more development regarding Motorola X.
