Getting alligned with alleged release of Galaxy S4 in April, this year’s Samsung Unpacked Event date has been leaked out by a Korean newspaper which reports that the Korean giant intends to hold the Galaxy S4 unveiling ceremony on March 22 in US.
Just today rumours leaked out that Galaxy S4-codename “Altius- will hit the stores in Mid-April and unlike last time the wireless charging dockstation woud be available after a week of its introduction. If that news is taken into consideration, then the upcoming flagship smartphone of Samsung will surely be unveiled in March.

The next Galaxy S is rumoured to feature an Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU, Mali-T658 (8-Core) GPU, 4.99″ Super AMOLED Full HD Resolution Display, 2GB of RAM, 13 Megapixel Rear facing Camera capable of shooting 1080p Full HD Videos at 30FPS, 2 Megapixel front facing camera capable of shooting 720p HD Videos and running Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Here’s what Sammy’s past track record has been when it came to launching Galaxy S devices, the first ever Galaxy S device was announced in March 2010 at CTIA in US, Galaxy S2 was unveiled in February 2011 at MWC in Spain while the most popular flagship smartphone Galaxy S3 was launched by Samsung in early May 2012 at a special Unpacked event in London.
Keeping in view the current trend of rising smartphones from giants like Sony, Samsung might be getting desperate to re-capture user’s attention by unveiling something new without any unnecessry delay. For what it’s worth, it’s the perect time for Samsung to re-emerge on the battlefield and engage its competition before they get the mange to capture the spotlight.
